EQUIPMENT STOLEN DURING CREDIT CARD
SCHEME
On 1-31-08 Alklean received a
call asking for a specific machine which was in stock.
The machine was a Mi-T-M HSP30043MGH. The caller provided
an American Express account number for the purchase and
was faxed an authorization form which was signed and
returned. The caller stated that an employee would be sent
to pick-up teh equipment. Two hours later, the worker
arrived, was loaded with the equipment a left.
Shortly
thereafter, Alklean was informed that the purchase was
fraudulent. Alklean, did get a copy of the TDL from driver
and vehicle license number which the investigating officer
said went above what most people do, the machine is still
gone. Alklean advises you to be on the lookout for similar
schemes.
