CETA President 2008
Dear CETA Members,
Welcome to your web page.
On September 27th, 2007 the gavel was
passed from R. Calvin Rasmussen to me and I began my tenure as
CETA’s President for
2008.
Since then, your board and I have been busy laying the groundwork
for changes that will help CETA grow to better serve you, our
members and develop into a greater force in the pressure washing
industry.
The key to continuing the growth of our success
as an Association is through the participation of our members. All
membership levels are valued within CETA and we are striving to
provide all of our members with opportunities to participate in
taking CETA to the next level as an Association. I'd like to
encourage everyone to set a goal of becoming engaged at some
level; whether by providing story ideas or industry vital
information for the newsletter, acting as a source on our CETA
Edge articles, volunteering to be part of a committee, or even
just making it a priority to attend one of the Association's
educational opportunities during the next year. Make a commitment
to participate.
The coming year will bring many changes and enhancements to CETA.
I have made development of the Mentor Program and refinement and
finalization of the Certification Programs some of my top
priorities. Also at the top of the agenda are improvements to our
educational offerings through the establishment of CETA
University. Even though PowerClean 2008 is only in the initial
planning stages, I am confident in stating that the enhancements
planned will increase the show’s value to exhibitors and attendees
alike.
As you may know, Carol Wasieleski retired after
PowerClean 2007. Her contributions to CETA over her many years of
service and those of her assistant Cindy Rolland have been
invaluable. Our new management team at Association Enterprise is
now on the job and I have every confidence that Tom and Marlene
will pick-up where Carol left off and generate even better level
of service than that to which we have become accustomed. Please
give them your support and do not hesitate to contact them for
assistance.
I'm looking forward to a great year for CETA, and
everyone's participation, as we step out as a team, expand on
relationships that we have established in the past, and put in
place a plan to help our Association pursue our mission and goals
into the future.
