CETA Offers Members HAZMAT Training at Discount Rates
If you ship hazardous materials you have a need to train!
In August of 2005 the President signed the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, and Efficient Transportation Equity Act which increased the cost for non compliance with The Department of Transportation (DOT) HAZMAT Regulations. The minimum penalty for failing to provide initial or recurrent training to HAZMAT employees in the four (4) required areas of general awareness, function-specific, safety, and security awareness has increased to $450.00 per employee. CETA in conjunction with SJC Compliance Education has created a computer based training program to help your company comply with training regulations.
